Description

In 1941, the British were at a breaking point in North Africa. They needed almost everything they had upgraded, because what they had was close to nothing to help the war. One thing they needed was new SPG's with a 25 pounder gun, or 87.6mm cannon. In 1942 the British got a rushed attempt to fill the request. Based on the valentine chase, the Bishop had a pillbox like turret, armed with the 25 pounder. But the problems showed almost instantly, then gun elevation was not enough to be used as an artillery piece, at 15 degrees max elevation. So pits with ramps were made to drive it in so its elevation was increased.
Only 149 were built, and a failure of a piece of war.

Sometimes it takes a failure in a battle to figure out how to win a war. The Bishop is a example of it.
If I missed anything or something is wrong in my summary, let me know. I want to lure about the war machine models I build, and want to teach it as well.

Beautiful work---not exactly what you'd call sleek, is it?
Like a mobile pillbox.
